10 th Graders - PowerPoint presentations are due today. (500 points) You are to present your Geography presentations today detailing your vacation plans for Mrs. Turner. Your budget needs to match your vacation plans and itenerary.

11th Graders - PowerPoint and project presentations are due today. (500 points)


Be sure to remind the students to go to your group or blog page to rate your presentation. (50 points)

Remember to always:
1) Introduce yourself.
2) Forecast: Tell us what you are going to talk about.
3) Conclude: Thank the class for the time and tell us where to give feedback.

Learning Journal Makeup Assignment

For those students who lost several points on the first learning journal, you may take this opportunity to gain your 400 points back. Write a 1 to 2 page paper discussing what you learned about Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and the Internet including the blogger, groups, email, etc.
Be as specific as you can. Discuss what you knew how to do before the class compared to what you now know how to do.

Word Wall Due Today 5/15/09 - 500 points

Your word wall is due today. Its worth 500 points. You should have 25 terms or concepts you've learned this year along with their definitions and an image to match. Your word wall should be done on your Google groups page. You need to invite me to your page as a member in order for me to view your assignment. For group invitation, use elnoragavin@yahoo.com.

3. Some students with technical difficulties were approved to email me a Microsoft Word document as an attachment. If you had to use Word, leave me a message explaining that and email me at elnora.gavin@leonagroup.com.
