ReplyDeleteA reason why I am about to say what I am about to say is because we are part of the Black American History program. I cant really say how but all I know is that we are apart of the Black African American Black History program.

ReplyDeleteThe similarities are that I do my thang when time to get down. I get's what need to be at the top. The differences are I do not box and have a chapionship in that sport. One other one is I not so famous as the historical person I Picked right now.
The first similaritie to micheal jordan is we both love basketball. The second one is we both play. The first difference is that he was way better then me he is the greatest of all-time. The second one is he played in the NBA. So those are my opinions for today's writing prompt.
ReplyDeleteI chose Benjamin Carson. Ben Carson is a famous African American pediatric neurosugeon. We are alike in many ways. We both were born in Michigan. We both share common interests in reading, psychaitry, and surgery. We both enjoy these things alot. He also has a brother as a sibling except he is the oldest and I am the youngest.
ReplyDeleteWe are different because I've never really had problems in school as far as being capable of doing the work. He was raised by his mother in a single parent home. I am being raised by my grandparents with the help of my dad. I've always knew that I wanted to be some sort of surgeon. Ben didn't know he wanted to be a surgeon until he got in college and changed his major a couple of times.

Because he is and well known writer from his poems and so are me, he is known to be an outgoing person and so am I. our differences are that he is a famous poet and i just write when I'M BORED another differences is that he was succesful at what he was doing I'm just know becoming successful.
My first similarity to Harriet Tubman is helping people. Harriet cares for her family and so do I. We are didfferent because she was a slave and I'm not. Also, she lived in Pennsylvania and I'm living in Michigan.

We are different because he's rich and I'm not,and he has MILLIONS and I dont.
I am similar to Madam C.J walker because we both care about our hair. Meaning we both are sensitive about our hair so we do/did something about it. Another similarity is we both are African Americans. We are different in many ways she was married. Another one is she is known for what she did.

The person I selected is Martin Luther King Jr. We have many similar characteristics. We both stand up for what we believe in and we both I got a dream he had a dream. We also have many differences, for instance he is dead and i'm still living, and he went to jail and i never went to jail.

I am similar to Malcom X because we both want racism to end. We are both african american men that are very influential. I am different form Malcom X because I haven't committed crimes, and don't plan to. I am not Muslim or a spokesman. Although I have done a speech before.
