A. Decide which assignment you would like to present to the class and with whom you would like to pair. No more than 3 members to a group. Reply to this post letting me know the members of your group and the number you selected. Be sure of who and what you select because you may not be able to change. FIRST COME FIRST SERVE.
1. RIBBON - Explain to the class what the "Ribbon" is. Show where it is located. Demonstrate how tabs on the ribbon work. Be sure to require the class to practice using tabs on the ribbon in your presentation.
2. ACCESS KEYS - Explain to the class what "Access Keys" are. Tell why a user might want to use access keys. Demonstrate what key is used to activate access keys. Discuss what Key Tips are and demonstrate how they are used. Be sure to require the class to practice using access keys.
3. OFFICE BUTTON - Explain to the class what the "Office Button" is. Show where it is located. Show and tell what submeus and button icons. Be sure to require the class to practice using the office menu and submenus.
4. QUICK ACCESS TOOLBAR - Explain to the class what the "Quick Access Toolbar" is. Show where it is located. Tell why the quick access toolbar is used. Demonstrate to the class how you can customize the quick access toolbar. Show how to deselect or select commands on the toolbar. Be sure to and tell what submeus and button icons. Be sure to require the class to practice using the quick access toolbar.
5. MINI TOOLBAR - Explain to the class what the "Mini Toolbar" is. Show where it is located and how to access. Demonstrate how to activate a transparent mini toolbar and how to access an opaque mini toolbar. Discuss how the mini toolbar can be useful and be sure to require the class to practice using the mini toolbar.
6. SHORTCUT MENUS - Explain to the class what the "Shortcut menu" is. Show how to access it. Discuss the difference between an active and inactive shortcut menu option. Be sure to require the class to practice using shortcut menus.
7. DIALOG BOX - Explain to the class what the "Dialox box" is. Demonstrate how to move from one element to the other in a dialog box. Show how to select elements in the dialog box using the ALT key. Demonstrate at least 4 different types of dialog box options and be sure to require the class to practice using them.
B. Create a blog page for your group. Post a reply comment leading the class to your page. Create a new post within the blog explaining how you are going to complete your presentation. Tell who is assigned to what(For example, Kevin will introduce the group...). Explain how you will demonstrate each question item. Be sure to list each member of your group and show how they will be used. Ask the class to rate your presentation on a scale of 1-4. 1 is poor and 4 is excellent. Each class member must reply with a rating and tell what they learned from your presentation as well as offer 1 suggestion as to how you can improve.
70 points - 20 presentation(5 intro, 5 conclusion 5 creativity 5 professionalism); 20 Information(10 content 10 accuracy); 20 Blog (5 appearance; 5 student feedback; 10 content) 10 points Teamwork (-20 points or more for misconduct during presentation)

ReplyDeleteI would have to say three qualities are staying focus, stay on task, and watch who you be wit. An unsuccessful person might not achieve as must as a successful person. They might have a lack of education. I would have to say the successful one is the most important.
Well the habbits a sucessful person will have would be like to get up in the morning and go to work and love to take care of his or her family.

ReplyDeleteThe very first quality a successful person must have is to have a very good attitude. Another quality thau must have to be successful is to be very independent in life to succedde in life. i cant think of another one so I cant really say. To have a bad attitude is one way that you can be unseccessful. Also to be very independent. How they need to be very independent.
Three quailities that a successful person should have is to be a competent communicator, they have to be fully educated, and they also have to believe in theirselves in order to do what they want to do. Habits that a unsuccessful person posseses is to not believe in theirselves, rather stay in the streets than to do what they surpose to be doing, and depending on other people. I think having listening skills is the most important because in some stages you don't have to be to well educated you just have to listen and follow directions.

ReplyDeleteThe three important qualities for a successful person is a good attitude.Stay doing everything right, and they will have to stay positive. The unsuccessful qualities of a person is easy. They will have to have a bad attitude, do not do everything right, and they will have to stay thinking the opposite of positive. The most important qualities the attitude and staying positive. So that is my opinion for today's writing prompt.

ReplyDeleteI have a few qualities about myself. some of my most common one is im a hard worker,alway try to get my work done as soon a posible but it got to be good work, and a nother thing is that i show respect to everyone but some times it dont show. Things that unsuccessful people do is they dont do nothing, they dont pay attention in school and just throw their life away. The most important to me is the positive attitude. Becuase being smart doesnt mean anything if you have a nasty attitude.
ReplyDeleteAn successful thing is to first respect your self and others have a positive attitude,because you need a positive attitude if you want to go somewhere and if you want to be somebody. You also need to be in school so you can graduate so you can go to college and be what you want to be in life. Go get a decent job and be happy. An unsuccessful thing is to drop out of school, go start celling drug, do want you want, disrespectful, no longer staying with parennt because you think your grown all signs of successful.
